Ok, the popup ad is currently down, as even I'm tired of it. But Chris reserves the right to ask for it back whenever he wants. James has also threatened to donate if I put up a link for him...

Alright, an update: If you

Alright, an update:

  • If you haven't noticed, I slyly put some keywords at the bottom of the index page. Yesterday just happened to be the day Google indexed me again, so I'm already getting hits. If you're just discovering the site, enjoy.

  • Chris surprised me by donating ten dollars via PayPal, requesting (I assume) that I put my popup back for the day. Sounds like a deal to me. Remember, the person who finds me a job wins $100.

  • I'm a whore. If you'd like something on this page (which is getting more and more hits daily), feel free to donate. I'll entertain all offers.

    What a strange evening I'm

What a strange evening I'm having. Some random thoughts:

  • I've been without a job for nearly 2 months. I'm starting (just starting) to get bored with doing "home" things...though it's been a nice vacation since college and my dad's death.

  • The days are starting to blend into eachother, since I have no clear weekends. I'm not sure if it's bad because I'm losing myself, or good, since i'm not defining my life by work days.

  • I'm missing friends who I don't see much, if at all, anymore, due to distance. College and high school both make you friends who you tend to lose afterword.

  • I've been out of college for over a year. It's just weird.

  • I'm now closer to 30 than I am to 16. That's also weird.

Those are the random thoughts. Thank you for listening.

    You know what's cool about

You know what's cool about being an adult? You can have as much pudding as you want. When you're young, you really can't, unless you sneak it. But, by the time you're old enough to have your pudding, you really shouldn't be eating that much pudding.

My local ABC station ran a story about how it's not a real picture, and how the cat's fat, but not that big. No shit. I can sleep better now.

Most Los Angeles TV news is just entertainment and nonsense. Unfortuantly, CNN is now, too. I don't want Jim Lehrer, but I want good, hard news, and entertainment on my own time. Is that too much to ask?

There's nothing to make you think quite like the headline "Town Rains Corn, Baffles Weather Experts". This one is interesting because it doesn't involve strong weather, which usually draws the raining object (frogs, easter eggs, what-have-you) into the air.

    I've never been an artist

I've never been an artist in the traditional sense. I can't draw well, I don't paint or sculpt, I never visualize as well as I'd like to. The images in my brain don't transfer well when my hands interpret them. I do write, however, and can make a decent web page. But all of a sudden I've had these urges to do some modern interactive electronic media art projects. I'm not sure why, or what I'll turn out. We'll see...
